Dallara

Dr. Robert Dallara is a dual board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist with over a decade of clinical experience. As System Chair of Pain Medicine at Aultman Hospital System, he led a multi-site pain program spanning three hospital-based locations.

 

Dr. Dallara offers full-scope interventional and chronic pain care, including advanced neuromodulation, minimally invasive spinal procedures, and outpatient addiction medicine. His procedural expertise spans spinal cord stimulation, DRG therapy, radiofrequency ablation, kyphoplasty, VertiFlex, MILD, SI joint fusion, vertebral nerve ablation, intrathecal pump management, and the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic injections. He also specializes in outpatient opiate dependence treatment, including Suboxone management.

 

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Dallara serves as a Professor of Surgery at Northeast Ohio Medical University and the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is an active industry consultant for Boston Scientific, Medtronic, and Abbott, and a panel member and speaker for Xact Labs. He has delivered grand rounds lectures, led opiate guidance initiatives, and served on medical school admissions committees for over a decade.

 

Dr. Dallara completed his medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University, followed by a transitional residency at Aultman Hospital, an anesthesia residency at Allegheny Health Network with a focus on perioperative and transplant anesthesia, and a fellowship in interventional and chronic pain. He holds board certifications through the American Board of Anesthesiology and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons in both anesthesiology and pain medicine, and is licensed in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
